Eric Nyuma

I am a pre-licensed clinical mental health counselor and a graduate of Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in counseling psychology(major). I am enrolled in a master’s program for clinical mental health counseling. My professional goals are to prioritize the mental and emotional well-being of clients by providing effective therapeutic interventions, help clients develop coping skills to manage their mental health challenges independently, maintain a safe and confidential environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings, stay updated with the latest research and techniques in mental health to provide the best care possible, and advocate for mental health awareness while reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues.
