Internship/Externship Program

Program Description: Transit Health LLC.  is an insurance-based outpatient mental health clinic that provides counseling and psychological services to individuals, couples and families.  

This training is open to psychology, counseling and social work graduate students. The internship/externship provides training in evidence-based psychotherapy and specializes in treating mental health disorders. Trainees will see up to 8 -10 clients weekly and will receive individual supervision and one hour of group supervision. Supervision is provided by board-approved licensed Clinicians (LCPC, LCSW, & Psychologists). Training will also include clinical case conferences, seminars, and professional development groups. Patients will include children, adolescents, and adults. Trainees work 16 -20 hours per week and must be available one evening. Trainees will be paid a stipend during the course of their training.

Qualification: Applicants must have completed at least one year of graduate level coursework. They should be entering their second year of graduate study.
